Displaced East Coaster

I am a Northeasterner who relocated to Chicago in 2009. In the fall, I took a short "self-discovery" trip, which was the inspiration for the blog. Next, I worked as a law clerk. Finally, in August 2010, I started a job with the state doing civil rights work. I plan to continue to blog, especially about my love of the northeast, my new love of Chicago and the things I see on my daily travels. Party after the game

After the Lightning game, there was a free party outside the stadium
with a live band. A crowd of about 500 people stayed to celebrate the
overtime win. You can't do that in February in Chicago or
Philadelphia. And you certainly can't have scantily clad women
selling cigarettes. Maybe the south isn't so bad. What?!? I didn't
mean that.
