Seriously, folks, don't Hipsters get cold? And check out the shoes -
we are expecting the first significant snowfall of the season today. I
can barely walk in my north face boots.

I am a Northeasterner who relocated to Chicago in 2009. In the fall, I took a short "self-discovery" trip, which was the inspiration for the blog. Next, I worked as a law clerk. Finally, in August 2010, I started a job with the state doing civil rights work. I plan to continue to blog, especially about my love of the northeast, my new love of Chicago and the things I see on my daily travels. I am an anonymous blogger and ask that you not give away my identification. Thanks and enjoy!
I'm pretty sure those aren't hipsters. Meanwhile, I am currently in my office at work wearing gloves and a scarf. Yes, I can type with gloves on.
ReplyDeleteIs that woman wearing a skirt? or just a long red shirt?? jl
ReplyDeleteTheir friend in the gray hat (top left, mostly blocked from view) was totally a hipster, so it is hipster by association. I'm sorry the picture did not come out clearer, but it is hard to snap photos while walking on a slippery sidewalk and trying not to let anyone see you. Of course, it is always possible that these women were headed home, after all, it is 8 a.m. on a Tuesday morning.
