Displaced East Coaster

I am a Northeasterner who relocated to Chicago in 2009. In the fall, I took a short "self-discovery" trip, which was the inspiration for the blog. Next, I worked as a law clerk. Finally, in August 2010, I started a job with the state doing civil rights work. I plan to continue to blog, especially about my love of the northeast, my new love of Chicago and the things I see on my daily travels. Oh, to be a teenager

I took this photo of one of the kid's rooms this weekend. I had
forgotten what it was like to have a super messy room. Those were the
days. Or were they? And when did I stop being a slob? I guess it was
about the same time I started buying no-iron wrinkle free shirts.
