Displaced East Coaster

I am a Northeasterner who relocated to Chicago in 2009. In the fall, I took a short "self-discovery" trip, which was the inspiration for the blog. Next, I worked as a law clerk. Finally, in August 2010, I started a job with the state doing civil rights work. I plan to continue to blog, especially about my love of the northeast, my new love of Chicago and the things I see on my daily travels. Tight spot

This should really say - the objects in the rear view camera are closer than they appear. This was one tight parking spot! Think back to the scene in one of the Austin Powers movies where he gets the golf cart stuck sideways in the hallway and drives forward one inch into the wall, then backward one inch into the wall. This was a nice bit of city parking!
