Displaced East Coaster

I am a Northeasterner who relocated to Chicago in 2009. In the fall, I took a short "self-discovery" trip, which was the inspiration for the blog. Next, I worked as a law clerk. Finally, in August 2010, I started a job with the state doing civil rights work. I plan to continue to blog, especially about my love of the northeast, my new love of Chicago and the things I see on my daily travels. My second favorite use for snow

Unfortunately, the hilly run left my knee a little sore. Fortunately,
there was still enough snow for a nice ice pack. This is my second
favorite use for snow. Now that I'm done icing, I'm off to the indoor/
outdoor heated pool and hot tubs in the sun!
