The second picture of the Titanic

Branson, Missouri is not the only place to claim the Titanic -
Blanchard springs cavern also has a titanic!! According to the guide
(on my second solo cavern tour) visitors to the cavern have named the
rock slab stalactite high up on the wall "the titanic". It really
looked like a ship.

I learned a lot on this tour. For example, gray Arkansas bats sleep in
tightly packed groups of approximately 150 bats per square foot. And
they make a lot of guana!! Because they sleep in groups of literally
thousands, their excrement tends to pile up. There was one mound that
looked like a giant sugar-coated hershey's kiss. The top of the kiss
was new because the bats got goofed up in a storm this July. The
bottom, however was estimated at close to 500 years old. The pile was
over 8 feet tall.

This cavern was pretty cool and had a cathedral room that was over 8
stories tall. Unfortunately, my flash didn't work well and I didn't
get a lot of good pictures.
